Dietitian vacancy in Alta Norway

Junior Dietitian

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Junior Dietitian to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Junior Dietitian, you will work under the supervision of a Senior Dietitian and assist in providing nutritional counseling and education to clients. This is a contract position with a salary of $1200 per month, and free accommodation, visa, and ticket will be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutritional assessments and develop personalized meal plans for clients based on their individual needs
- Educate clients on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits
- Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to their meal plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition
- Assist in planning and conducting group education sessions on various nutrition topics
- Maintain accurate records of client consultations and progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
- Certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
- Strong knowledge of nutrition principles, dietary guidelines, and food science
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate clients
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Norwegian is a plus)
