Office Assistant - Al-Malikiyah, Syria
We are currently in need of an Office Assistant to join our team in Al-Malikiyah, Syria. The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 2 years of experience working in an office setting and be able to handle a variety of administrative tasks. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1500 per month.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person or take messages
- Manage and maintain office supplies inventory
- Organize and schedule appointments for staff members
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports and presentations
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures
- Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus
- Proven experience as an office assistant, receptionist, or similar role
- Familiarity with office equipment (e.g. printers, scanners) and basic computer skills (MS Office)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
