Glazier - Residential and Commercial Projects


We are looking for an experienced Glazier to join our team in Clairvaux, working on residential and commercial projects. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing glass in various structures, including windows, doors, and storefronts. This is a contract position with a salary of $1000 per week, without accommodation provided. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in glazing looking for a new challenge.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass to fit specific openings
- Install glass in frames using putty, screws or other types of fasteners
- Replace broken or damaged glass
- Prepare surfaces for installation by removing old panes, cleaning and applying primers or sealants
- Follow safety procedures to ensure the proper handling and installation of glass
- Work closely with other tradespeople to ensure proper coordination on projects

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Glazier in residential and commercial settings
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications accurately
- Experience using tools such as measuring tapes, levels, power drills, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
- Excellent communication skills

Preference will be given to candidates who are Indian nationals or have experience working with Indian clients.
