Job Title: Dismantler/ Demolition Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Dismantler/Demolition Specialist to join our team in Clairvaux. As a Dismantler, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently dismantling structures and equipment, including salvageable materials, in accordance with project plans and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections of structures and equipment to determine the most effective dismantling methods
- Safely operate hand and power tools to remove components and materials from structures
- Sort and organize salvaged materials for recycling or disposal
- Dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure the timely completion of projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while on job sites
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in demolition or dismantling role
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Knowledge of different types of tools and equipment used in demolition work
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in demolition or related field is a plus
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, etc.
- Experience working on commercial or industrial demolition projects
