Team Lead - IT Project Management

As a Team Lead for IT Project Management, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects within our company. In this role, you will lead a team of project managers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the desired quality standards. You will also serve as a liaison between the project team and upper management, providing regular updates on project progress and identifying any potential roadblocks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of project managers in planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans and timelines to ensure timely completion of projects
- Monitor project progress and take corrective actions as needed to keep the project on track
- Communicate regularly with upper management to provide updates on project status and escalate any issues or risks
- Identify potential roadblocks and work with cross-functional teams to find solutions
- Conduct regular performance reviews for team members and provide feedback for improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures throughout all phases of the project

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management or related role
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall)
- Excellent leadership skills with proven experience in managing teams
- Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects within budget and timeline constraints

Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience working with global teams or managing remote teams
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC)
