Industrial Alpinist - Alta, Norway

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Alpinist to join our team in Alta, Norway. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will use specialized techniques and equipment to perform tasks at heights and in difficult-to-reach locations.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on industrial structures such as bridges, towers, and wind turbines using rope access techniques
- Perform various tasks such as painting, welding, cleaning, and installation of equipment
- Adhere to safety procedures and protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient completion of tasks
- Inspect equipment before use and report any issues or malfunctions
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Industrial Alpinist
- Certification in rope access techniques (IRATA or SPRAT)
- Proficient in using specialized equipment such as harnesses, ropes, ascenders, and descenders
- Physically fit and able to work at heights for extended periods of time
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (Norwegian language skills preferred)

Salary: 1000$ per week (negotiable based on experience)

This is a contract job with the possibility for long-term employment. As we have urgent jobs that may require immediate deployment, candidates must be available for short notice assignments.
