Blast Furnace Operator

A blast furnace operator is responsible for operating and maintaining a blast furnace, which is used in the production of iron and steel. This position requires physical strength and stamina, as well as attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment.

As a blast furnace operator, you will be responsible for loading materials into the furnace, monitoring the temperature and pressure levels, adjusting controls to maintain proper conditions, and removing molten metal from the furnace. You will also be responsible for conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

This position does not require prior experience, as on-the-job training will be provided. However, candidates must have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. Fluency in English is required for effective communication with team members.

This position offers a salary of $1100 per month and includes accommodation. The job location is in Nakuru, Kenya.
