Preservation Architect

As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and preserving historical buildings and structures in the city. You will work closely with government agencies, property owners, and other stakeholders to ensure that these structures are maintained and protected for future generations to appreciate.
Your main responsibilities will include conducting site surveys, preparing preservation plans, overseeing restoration projects, and monitoring the condition of historical buildings. You will also collaborate with other architects and engineers to ensure that all preservation work meets safety standards and follows best practices.
To excel in this role, you should have a degree in architecture or a related field, as well as experience working on preservation projects. A strong understanding of building materials and techniques from different time periods is also essential. Additionally, proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software is preferred.
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills who can effectively collaborate with diverse teams. As this role involves working with historical structures, an appreciation for cultural heritage is desired.
This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month. While previous experience in preservation architecture is preferred, we welcome applications from recent graduates or students studying architecture who possess the necessary skills and passion for preservation work.
