Light Vehicle Driver


We are hiring a reliable and skilled Light Vehicle Driver to join our team in Malindi. As a Light Vehicle Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our company's vehicles while providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate light vehicles, such as cars or vans, for transportation purposes
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road
- Ensure the vehicle is always kept clean and in good working condition
- Conduct regular maintenance checks, including oil changes and tire rotations
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or accidents to the appropriate personnel
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods or passengers
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with loading/unloading of goods and providing information about local attractions or services
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that may occur while driving

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license for light vehicles
- Proven work experience as a light vehicle driver preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (Swahili is a plus)
- Familiarity with Malindi roads and routes is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
- Good physical health with the ability to lift heavy items if necessary
