Team Lead - IT Department
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Team Lead to join our IT department in Bergen. Our company is a leading technology firm that specializes in developing innovative software solutions for clients around the world. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of developers and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within agreed timelines and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of developers, providing guidance, support, and mentoring as needed
- Collaborate with project managers to define project requirements and allocate resources accordingly
- Ensure timely completion of projects by monitoring progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing effective solutions
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members to maintain high-quality standards
- Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and best practices to continuously improve the team's skills and processes
- Act as the main point of contact for client communication regarding project updates, issues, and escalations
- Handle performance evaluations, training sessions, and career development plans for team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in software development with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Excellent knowledge of coding languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Experience working with agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders
- Experience managing teams remotely is preferred
- Fluency in English is required
