Gardening Assistant

We are searching for a skilled Gardening Assistant to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Gardening Assistant, you will work alongside our experienced gardeners to maintain and care for our clients' gardens and landscapes. This is a full-time position, with a salary of $1400 per month.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planting, weeding, pruning and general maintenance of gardens and landscapes
- Operate and maintain gardening equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers
- Ensure that all plants are watered and fertilized appropriately
- Keep gardens free from pests and diseases by applying appropriate treatments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of gardening tools and equipment
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific gardening needs
Requirements:
- Previous experience in gardening or landscaping preferred but not required
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor tasks
- Knowledge of different plant species, their care requirements, and common pests/diseases
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluency preferred)
