JAVA Developer - Contract (Karachi, Pakistan)


We are seeking a skilled and experienced JAVA Developer to join our team on a contract basis in Karachi, Pakistan. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software applications and systems using Java programming language. As a JAVA Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, coding, testing and debugging software applications using Java technology
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation for all code written
- Troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolutions to ensure smooth functioning of applications
- Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency
- Staying updated with latest trends and advancements in Java development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a JAVA Developer
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language
- Experience working with enterprise level systems
- Knowledge of object-oriented design principles and design patterns
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
