Female Librarian - Gujrat, Pakistan


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Female Librarian to join our team in Gujrat, Pakistan. As a librarian, you will play a crucial role in providing access to information and resources to our community. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the library's collection of books, journals, and other materials
- Organize and catalog materials using the Dewey Decimal System or other library classification systems
- Assist library patrons in locating resources and provide reference services
- Develop and implement library programs and events to promote literacy and learning
- Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum development and student learning
- Manage library budget, purchase new materials, and maintain accurate records of circulation statistics
- Train and supervise library assistants or volunteers
- Stay updated on new trends and technologies in the library field

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Prior experience working in a library setting is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with library classification systems, such as Dewey Decimal System
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluency in English is required
