Quality Assurance Tester - Akron, OH



Our growing technology company in Akron, OH is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Tester to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products through thorough testing and identifying any bugs or issues before release. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements
- Identify, document, and track bugs, issues, and defects in our software products
- Collaborate with developers and project managers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution
- Conduct regression testing to ensure previous defects have been fixed and new features have not caused any new issues
- Provide feedback on usability, functionality, and user experience of our software products
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quality assurance testing

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
- Experience with manual testing of web-based applications or mobile applications
- Knowledge of various testing methodologies such as black box, white box, integration testing, etc.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
