IT Support Specialist


We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in Utena, providing technical assistance and support to our clients. As a computer support specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network systems. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a customer-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
- Install, configure and maintain computer systems and networks
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose and solve hardware or software faults
- Install and configure computer peripherals such as printers, scanners, etc.
- Set up new user accounts and profiles
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, fixes, installations and updates
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies in order to provide timely solutions to clients

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
- Knowledge of Windows/Mac OS environments
- Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN networks
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis
- Good communication skills in order to explain complex technical concepts to non-tech savvy individuals
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field is preferred

Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Experience working with biometric passport systems
- Accommodation in Utena or willingness to relocate
- Fluency in English (spoken/written)

Salary: 1300$ per month
