Junior Merchandiser


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Merchandiser to join our team in Os, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the senior merchandiser in product selection, sourcing, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market trends and consumer preferences, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior merchandiser in selecting products for our retail stores
- Conduct market research to identify current trends and consumer preferences
- Communicate with suppliers to negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery of products
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products
- Collaborate with marketing team to create promotional strategies for products
- Attend trade shows and conferences to stay updated on industry developments
- Prepare reports on sales performance and product feedback from customers

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Marketing, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a merchandising role
- Strong understanding of market trends and consumer behavior
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary: 1400$ per month
