IT Helpdesk Support Specialist


We are seeking a skilled IT Helpdesk Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Ashdod. This is a contract job with a salary of 1600$ per month and includes accommodation. As an IT Helpdesk Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of all computer systems. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. A biometric passport is preferred but not required.

As an IT Helpdesk Support Specialist, your daily tasks will include:

- Responding to client inquiries and resolving technical issues via phone, email, or in person.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
- Escalating complex issues to senior technicians or other departments as needed.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and networks.
- Providing training for new employees on computer systems and procedures.
- Monitoring system performance and identifying potential issues.
- Maintaining accurate records of all support activities.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in technical support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Mac), networking, and software applications (Microsoft Office).
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
