Executive Pastry Chef
We are seeking an experienced and creative Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Ashdod. As the Executive Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the pastry department and ensuring the production of high-quality and delicious desserts and pastries.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new dessert menus and recipes in line with current trends and customer preferences
- Oversee the production of all desserts, pastries, and baked goods for the restaurant
- Train and mentor pastry team members, ensuring consistent quality and techniques
- Manage inventory for the pastry department, ordering supplies as needed
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times
- Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus that complement each other
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to constantly improve offerings
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of a wide range of dessert techniques and ingredients
- Creative flair and ability to develop unique dessert concepts
- Excellent leadership skills with a hands-on approach to training staff
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
Salary:
$1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location:
Ashdod, Israel (open to candidates from Canada or other English-speaking countries)
