Preservation Architect (Part-time)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Gujrat on a part-time basis. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, ensuring their cultural and historical significance is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough research on the history and significance of historic structures
- Performing detailed site assessments to identify any potential preservation or restoration needs
- Developing preservation plans and strategies to maintain the integrity of historic buildings
- Identifying and sourcing appropriate materials for restoration work
- Collaborating with other architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure preservation work is carried out effectively
- Monitoring the progress of preservation projects and providing updates to clients or stakeholders
- Adhering to all relevant building codes, regulations, and guidelines during preservation work

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Preservation Architect
- Strong knowledge of historic preservation techniques, materials, and processes
- Excellent research skills with attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and drawings
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and guidelines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with others
