Sous Chef
We are seeking a creative and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Clairvaux. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee and manage the kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in creating menus and developing new dishes
- Oversee and train kitchen staff, ensuring all food is prepared according to recipes and standards
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure food safety and hygiene regulations are followed at all times
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards
- Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on budget planning and cost control measures
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Creativity and ability to develop new dishes while maintaining consistency in existing menu items
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Valid work permit for Indians or visa sponsorship available
Salary: 1500$ per month
