We are seeking a motivated and experienced Collector to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate payment arrangements with clients. As a Collector, you will be responsible for contacting clients to collect outstanding debts, maintaining accurate records of all collection activities, and providing excellent customer service. This is a contract position with an attractive salary of 900$ per month, plus accommodation provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contact clients via phone, email or in-person to collect outstanding debts
- Negotiate payment plans and arrangements with clients
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities
- Ensure timely and effective follow-up on delinquent accounts
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies
- Keep up-to-date on collection laws and regulations to ensure compliance

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Collector or similar role
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of collection laws and regulations preferred but not required
