Executive Chef (Indian Cuisine)
We are in search of an experienced Executive Chef who specializes in Indian cuisine to join our team in Chelyabinsk. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our restaurant's Indian cuisine offerings, including menu creation, food preparation, and kitchen management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menus featuring authentic Indian dishes and flavors
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper food preparation and plating techniques
- Ensure quality control and consistency in all dishes served
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of necessary ingredients and supplies
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, pricing, and cost control measures
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and regional variations
- Proven track record of creating successful menus that balance authenticity with innovation
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively train staff and collaborate with management
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost control measures, and inventory management
- Must have own visa to work in Chelyabinsk
