Metal Lathe Operator

We are seeking a skilled Metal Lathe Operator to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Metal Lathe Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating metal lathe machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in machining and metalworking, as well as strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate metal lathe machines to produce parts according to blueprints or specifications
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
- Maintain machinery by performing routine maintenance tasks
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating machinery
- Work independently or in a team environment as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in machining or metalworking
- Knowledge of various types of metals and their properties
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

This is a contract position with a salary of $1000 per week. This job is open to all applicants regardless of nationality or gender. However, candidates must have the legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
