Job Title: Instrument Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Izhevsk. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of instruments used for measurement and control in industrial settings. Your duties will include troubleshooting issues, conducting regular maintenance checks, and replacing faulty parts when needed. You may also be responsible for installing new instruments and calibrating them to ensure accurate readings.

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician, preferably in an industrial setting. You should also have strong technical knowledge and be able to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams. A degree or certificate in a relevant field such as electronics or instrumentation is preferred.

As this position involves working with various types of instruments, you should have a good understanding of different measurement principles and be familiar with different types of sensors and transducers. You should also have experience using testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and calibration devices.

Strong problem-solving skills are crucial in this role as you will often need to troubleshoot complex issues with instruments that may affect production processes. Attention to detail is also important as even small errors can lead to significant problems.

Since this position involves working with electrical equipment, knowledge of safety regulations and procedures is essential. You must also be able to follow safety protocols at all times to ensure the well-being of yourself and those around you.

Being able to work independently is important in this role but you must also be a team player who can effectively communicate with other technicians and engineers. Proficiency in Russian is required for this position as most instructions and manuals will be in Russian.
