Dietitian - Nutrition Consultant


As a Dietitian - Nutrition Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on nutrition and diet to clients in Lisbon. You will work on a contract basis, with a salary of 1000$ per month. This is an urgent job with no accommodation provided, so candidates should be able to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' dietary needs and create personalized nutrition plans
- Provide education and support to clients on how to make healthy food choices and maintain a balanced diet
- Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their nutrition plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to ensure coordinated care for clients
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and incorporate this knowledge into practice

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution
- Proven experience as a Dietitian or Nutritionist, preferably in a clinical setting
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry related to nutrition
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Valid certification from a recognized professional body (e.g. Commission on Dietetic Registration)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
- Bilingual proficiency (Portuguese/English)
- Experience working with individuals with chronic conditions such as diabetes or heart disease
