As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for creating and formatting various written materials such as books, magazines, and newspapers. Your main goal will be to ensure that the text is visually appealing and accurately reflects the content provided by authors or editors. This is a contract position in Alta, Norway with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Format and arrange text according to specific guidelines and instructions
- Use specialized software such as Adobe InDesign to create layouts
- Review and proofread content for accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with editors and designers to ensure high-quality final product
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Make adjustments to layout based on feedback from clients or team members

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a typesetter or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and ability to take direction effectively
- Knowledge of typography, design principles, and print production process is a plus
