Industrial Alpinist - Funchal, Portugal

We are seeking a motivated and physically fit individual to join our team as an Industrial Alpinist in Funchal, Portugal. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing various industrial tasks at height using specialized equipment and techniques. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong work ethic and attention to safety.

Responsibilities:
- Perform industrial tasks such as inspection, maintenance, and construction at height using rope access techniques
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
- Conduct pre-work inspections of equipment and report any issues or concerns
- Troubleshoot technical problems and make necessary repairs while working at height
- Communicate effectively with team members on the ground to coordinate tasks
- Complete daily reports and maintain accurate records of work performed

Requirements:
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights in various weather conditions
- Possess a basic understanding of industrial equipment and tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese language skills are a plus)
- Previous experience in industrial alpinism is preferred but not required

Salary:
The starting salary for this position is $1300 per month. Additional compensation may be provided for overtime hours or specialized training.
