Land Surveyor Assistant
The Land Surveyor Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed land surveyor in Bergen, Norway. This position is ideal for freshers who are interested in pursuing a career as a land surveyor. The assistant will be responsible for assisting with surveying tasks, such as setting up equipment, taking measurements, and recording data. The ideal candidate for this position will have completed relevant coursework or training in land surveying and have basic knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment. They should also be physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Responsibilities:
- Assist with setting up and calibrating surveying equipment
- Take measurements using various tools, such as GPS devices and total stations
- Record data accurately and maintain organized records
- Help with the layout of construction sites or property boundaries
- Conduct research on properties or land records
- Assist with creating maps and drawings using software programs
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
