Contract Interpreter (Karachi)



We are seeking a skilled and experienced contract interpreter to join our team in Karachi. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation services for our clients. This is a contract position with the potential for visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services in person, by phone, or via video conferencing
- Translate verbal communication accurately and maintain confidentiality
- Understand cultural context and ensure appropriate language usage
- Utilize industry-specific terminology and maintain a high level of professionalism
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities
- Maintain records of interpreting assignments and adhere to company policies

Requirements:
- Fluency in English and at least one other language (preferably Urdu or Sindhi)
- Proven experience as an interpreter, preferably in a professional setting
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain neutral in challenging situations
- Knowledge of cultural differences and sensitivity towards diverse groups
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules or situations
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Valid work permit for Pakistan (visa sponsorship available)
