Registered Nurse - Lom, Kenya


Our healthcare facility in Lom, Kenya is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to promote wellness and prevent illness. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' health status and document their medical history
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate physician
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and management
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans for patients
- Ensure that all medical equipment is properly maintained and functioning
- Adhere to strict infection control policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Valid nursing license in Kenya
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make quick decisions in emergency situations

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Swahili
- Experience working with electronic medical records
- Knowledge of local community resources for patient referrals
