Carpenter - Furniture Maker


We are seeking a skilled Carpenter - Furniture Maker to join our team in St-Petersburg. Our company specializes in creating custom furniture pieces for residential and commercial spaces. As a Carpenter - Furniture Maker, you will be responsible for creating and assembling furniture pieces based on client specifications and design plans.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret design plans to create accurate furniture pieces
- Operate various woodworking tools and machinery to cut, shape and join wood materials
- Measure and mark wood materials for cutting and shaping
- Assemble furniture pieces using hand tools, screws, and other fasteners
- Sand, stain, paint or varnish finished furniture pieces as needed
- Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products for defects or imperfections
- Collaborate with designers, clients, and other team members to discuss design options and modifications

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or Furniture Maker
- Knowledge of woodworking tools and machinery
- Ability to read design plans and interpret measurements accurately
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, push or pull heavy materials or equipment
- Good communication skills in English (Russian language skills are a plus)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in St-Petersburg. While we welcome all applicants, preference will be given to those already living in the city.

Work Hours:
This is a full-time position with flexible working hours. Part-time options may also be available upon discussion.

Accommodation:
This position does not include accommodation. Therefore, we prefer candidates who are already living in St-Petersburg or have their own accommodation arrangements.

Student Friendly:
While we welcome applicants from all backgrounds, this position may require physical exertion so we prefer candidates who are physically fit.

Language Requirements:
This position requires fluency in English as our main language of communication. Russian language skills are a plus but not a strict requirement.
