Formwork Technician


We are looking for a skilled and experienced Formwork Technician to join our team in Sheduva. As a Formwork Technician, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling formwork structures used in various construction projects. Your main duties will include reading blueprints and diagrams, measuring and cutting materials, setting up formwork systems, pouring concrete, and ensuring the structural integrity of the formwork.

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience working as a Formworker or in a similar role. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and additional training or certification in formwork construction is preferred. The ability to read and interpret technical drawings is essential.

As we work with both local and international clients, fluency in English is preferred but not required. We also welcome foreign workers who may require visa sponsorship. This position offers flexible part-time hours, making it ideal for students or those seeking a second job.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine formwork requirements
- Measure and cut materials according to specifications
- Assemble formwork systems using hand tools or power tools
- Set up and align formwork structures according to blueprints
- Pour concrete into forms using appropriate equipment
- Monitor the stability and structural integrity of the formwork during the pouring process
- Remove formwork after concrete has set and clean work area
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Formworker or in a similar role
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in formwork construction is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used for formwork assembly
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials
- Good communication skills; fluency in English is preferred
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
