Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team in St-Petersburg. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring their security and optimal performance. This role requires someone with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various database management systems and be familiar with data backup and recovery procedures. Responsibilities:
- Design and implement database structures
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure data integrity and security through regular backups and maintenance
- Optimize database performance through regular tuning
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure database compatibility with applications
- Develop procedures for data archiving and disaster recovery
- Troubleshoot problems reported by users and provide timely resolutions
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in database technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Experience working with various databases such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
- Knowledge of data backup and recovery procedures
- Understanding of database design principles and query optimization techniques
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluency in English (written and verbal)
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of cloud-based databases such as AWS or Azure

Salary: $1300/month
