Job Title: Junior Accountant - Lom, Togo


We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our accounting team in Lom, Togo. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and good communication skills. This is an entry-level position with room for growth and development within the company.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily accounting tasks such as data entry, bookkeeping, and record keeping
- Prepare financial documents such as invoices, bills, and receipts
- Reconcile bank statements and perform account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management review
- Communicate with clients or vendors regarding billing or payment inquiries

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
- Experience working in Lom or other African countries
- Fluency in English (French is a plus)

Salary: $1500/month (negotiable based on experience)
