Librarian

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Librarian to join our team in Acre, Israel. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, assisting patrons with research and reference questions, and promoting library services and resources.

Key responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection by cataloging, classifying, and organizing materials
- Assist patrons with research and reference questions using print and electronic resources
- Plan and coordinate library programs, events, and displays to promote literacy and lifelong learning
- Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement new services and initiatives
- Maintain library statistics and prepare reports for management
- Ensure the library's physical space is clean, organized, and inviting for patrons

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Previous experience working in a library setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of library systems, cataloging rules, and reference tools
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people
- Proficiency in English (Hebrew or Arabic language skills are a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month along with accommodation. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. Our company also provides visa sponsorship for non-Israeli citizens.
