Librarian Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our library team as a Librarian Assistant in Acre, Pakistan. As a Librarian Assistant, you will support the daily operations of the library by assisting with cataloguing, shelving books, and helping patrons locate materials. You will also be responsible for maintaining the library's physical space and ensuring all materials are properly organized.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for literature and knowledge, as well as excellent communication skills. Previous experience in a library setting is preferred but not required. This is a part-time position with flexible hours and the opportunity for visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cataloguing new materials into the library system
- Organize and shelve books according to the Dewey Decimal System
- Provide assistance to patrons in locating materials or using library resources
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the library space
- Help with inventory management and ordering of new materials
- Assist with library events and programs

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Library Science is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Previous experience in a library setting is preferred but not required

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.

This job is located in Acre, Pakistan.

This job does not require fluency in English. Basic English proficiency is preferred but not required.
