Industrial Alpinist in Akron, USA



We are seeking an experienced Industrial Alpinist to join our team in Akron, USA. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks at extreme heights and in challenging environments such as industrial facilities, construction sites, and natural structures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and maintain equipment necessary for industrial alpinism work
- Conduct safety checks and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Ascend and descend structures using ropes, harnesses, and other specialized equipment
- Perform tasks such as welding, painting, cleaning, and repairs while suspended at heights
- Install and remove rigging systems for material handling or personnel transportation
- Communicate with team members on the ground to coordinate tasks and ensure safety
- Document work progress and report any issues or concerns to the project manager

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial alpinism or related field
- Valid certification in industrial alpinism (e.g. SPRAT or IRATA)
- Strong physical fitness and ability to work at extreme heights for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of rigging systems, rope access techniques, and safety procedures
- Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in industrial alpinism (e.g. power tools)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with strong communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Additional Information:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month. Accommodation will be provided for non-local candidates. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds including Africans and Nepali nationals. Fluency in English is preferred but not required.
