Foundry Technician

As a Foundry Technician, you will be responsible for the production of high-quality metal castings in our foundry located in Malindi. This is a contract position suitable for individuals with no prior experience in the field, making it an ideal opportunity for students or fresh graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in the foundry industry.

Your main responsibilities will include operating and maintaining various equipment and tools used in the casting process, such as furnaces, ladles, and molds. You will also be responsible for monitoring and controlling the temperature and composition of molten metal to ensure that it meets quality standards. Additionally, you will be expected to perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong interest in foundry work and possess basic mechanical skills. You must also be able to follow instructions accurately and have a keen eye for detail. A good level of physical fitness is necessary as this job involves working with heavy machinery and standing for long periods.

This is an English-speaking job, so fluency in English is required. Indian nationals are preferred due to their experience in foundry work; however, candidates from other nationalities are also welcome to apply.
