Network and Systems Administrator

As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization platforms. You will ensure the smooth operation of our company's IT infrastructure by monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing security measures. Additionally, you will be in charge of managing user accounts and ensuring backups are performed regularly. This is a contract job with a salary of 1400$ per month in the city of Kaunas. Accommodation will be provided, along with free visa and ticket for Indian or Nepali candidates who are fluent in English.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Install and configure software applications and operating systems
- Maintain security through access controls, backups, firewalls, and other security measures
- Manage user accounts and permissions for all employees
- Ensure reliability of network servers and virtualization platforms
- Perform regular backups to ensure data integrity
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and implement them as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Network or Systems Administrator
- Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Familiarity with network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Experience with firewalls and other security measures
- Strong troubleshooting skills to quickly identify root causes of issues
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members from different departments
