Crane Operator


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Nairobi. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy loads. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1700$.

Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes in a safe and efficient manner, following all safety regulations and procedures
- Inspect and maintain cranes to ensure proper functioning
- Plan and execute lifts according to job requirements
- Communicate with ground personnel to ensure safe movement of loads
- Read and interpret load charts, blueprints, and other technical documents
- Complete necessary paperwork for each lift
- Maintain accurate records of crane usage, maintenance, and repairs

Requirements:
- Valid crane operator license or certification
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating cranes in construction or industrial settings
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities
- Ability to read and interpret load charts, blueprints, and technical documents
- Strong communication skills for working with ground personnel
- Physical strength and stamina to operate cranes for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail for completing necessary paperwork accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

Preferences:
While nationality or location is not a strict requirement, we prefer candidates who speak English fluently. Part-time positions may be available for those interested. Previous experience is preferred but not required as we are willing to train the right candidate. A biometric passport may be required for certain job sites.
