Job Title: Preservation Architect



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Lisbon. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, ensuring their longevity and cultural significance.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of historic buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans and strategies for restoration projects
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to execute preservation projects
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to historic preservation
- Conduct site visits to assess the condition of historic buildings and structures
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for preservation work
- Oversee the construction process to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to preservation standards
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, expenses, and documentation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in historic preservation or restoration projects
- Extensive knowledge of architectural history, preservation techniques, materials, and methods
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite or other design software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
