Preservation Architect

We are seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Clairvaux. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. Your duties will include conducting site visits, assessing the condition of buildings, developing preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of historic preservation principles, as well as knowledge of architecture and construction techniques. You should also have excellent project management skills and be able to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and other team members.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits to assess the condition of historic buildings
- Develop preservation plans and proposals for restoration projects
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities
- Oversee restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring they adhere to preservation guidelines
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals on restoration projects
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for preservation projects
- Conduct research on historic buildings and their architectural styles
- Advise clients on the best ways to preserve their historic properties
- Stay updated on current trends and techniques in historic preservation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in historic preservation or restoration projects
- Strong understanding of historic preservation principles and guidelines
- Knowledge of architecture and construction techniques
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship

Our company offers competitive salary packages starting at 1600$, along with accommodation options. This position is open to all nationalities but preference will be given to Filipinos. A biometric passport is required for this role.
