Office Assistant - Nairobi, Kenya
We are in search of a reliable and organized Office Assistant to join our team in Nairobi. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office staff and ensuring the smooth running of our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls to appropriate staff members
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, filing, and data entry
- Organize and maintain office supplies and equipment
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for office staff
- Help with preparing documents, reports, presentations, and other materials as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification is a plus
- Proven experience as an Office Assistant or similar role
- Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
