Smelter Operator


We are in need of a skilled Smelter Operator to join our team in Osijek. As a Smelter Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining smelting equipment to melt and refine metals. This is a contract position, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Responsibilities:
- Operate smelting machinery and equipment according to standard procedures
- Monitor and adjust temperature, pressure, and flow rates to ensure proper melting and refining of metals
- Inspect equipment for any malfunctions or abnormalities and report any issues to the supervisor
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and regulations
- Record production data accurately and maintain detailed logs of operations
- Troubleshoot equipment issues as needed
- Follow proper handling procedures for hazardous materials
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Smelter Operator or in a similar role
- Knowledge of smelting processes and equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physically fit to handle heavy materials
- Excellent communication skills in English
