Experienced Carpenter


We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures made of wood, including furniture, cabinets, and building frameworks.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications and materials needed
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Cut and shape wood using hand or power tools
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
- Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or structures
- Work with a variety of materials including wood, plywood, laminates, and other composite materials
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and building codes

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role (at least 2 years)
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Proficient in using hand tools (saws, hammers) and power tools (drills, sanders)
- Good understanding of wood properties and other construction materials
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent measuring skills
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month.

Location:
This is a full-time job located in Malindi. No English language skills are required for this position.

We provide free visa sponsorship for foreign employees. We also cover the cost of travel for employees relocating from outside of Kenya.
