Carpenter

We are hiring a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Malindi. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and other materials. You must have at least 2 years of experience in carpentry and be able to work independently or as part of a team. A valid work visa and accommodation will be provided for the right candidate. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1700 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and materials needed
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and smooth materials
- Assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other structures according to instructions
- Install structures such as windows, doors, staircases, etc.
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts using hand tools or machines
- Follow all safety procedures while working with equipment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools accurately
- Good knowledge of woodworking techniques and methods
- Physical stamina to handle heavy materials
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English

Preferred:
- Experience working with Indian clients
- Knowledge of building codes
