Job Title: Metal Worker


We are a reputable metalworking company based in Atlanta, looking for a skilled Metal Worker to join our team. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating, fitting, and repairing metal structures and equipment according to specifications. Your role will involve using various tools and techniques to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces together.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine the materials required and the process of fabrication
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as saws, grinders, drills, and welding machines to shape and join metal pieces together
- Measure and mark dimensions on metal pieces using rulers, squares or templates
- Cut or shear metal pieces using saws or shears
- Weld or solder metal pieces using various techniques such as arc welding or gas welding
- Grind down rough spots on metal pieces using hand files or power grinders
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance before installation or delivery
- Repair damaged or worn metal structures by cutting out damaged sections and replacing them with new pieces

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Metal Worker or similar role in a manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
- Proficient in reading blueprints, plans, and technical drawings
- Familiarity with various welding techniques including arc welding, gas welding, MIG/TIG welding
- Ability to use hand tools such as saws, grinders, drills accurately
- Physical stamina for standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects
- Attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity
- Good communication skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Salary: $1700/month

Location: Atlanta (Open to all nationalities)

Language Requirement: Fluent in English (all levels)
