Junior Data Mining Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Lisbon. The ideal candidate should have a passion for data and be comfortable working with large datasets. As a Junior Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to identify patterns and trends. You will also assist in developing data models and reports to support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize data from various sources
- Utilize data mining techniques to extract insights from large datasets
- Identify patterns and trends in data using statistical analysis methods
- Develop and maintain data models to support business objectives
- Create reports and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in data collection and analysis processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Strong understanding of data mining concepts and techniques
- Proficient in SQL or other database query languages
- Knowledge of statistical analysis tools such as R or Python
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with data mining or analytics is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with big data platforms such as Hadoop or Spark is a plus

Salary: $1500 per month

Location: Lisbon, Portugal
