We are a publishing company seeking a talented Typesetter to join our team in St. Petersburg, Russia. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text, images, and other visual elements into a visually appealing layout for print or digital publication. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term employment.

Key responsibilities:
- Utilize design software and tools to format and arrange text and graphics for publication
- Collaborate with editors and designers to ensure consistency in layout and design
- Proofread work for accuracy and quality control
- Make necessary adjustments to layout based on design guidelines and specifications
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in typesetting

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Typesetter or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, and design principles
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Fluency in English is required

Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Experience working on print or digital publications
- Knowledge of multiple languages
Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: St. Petersburg, Russia (candidates from India with valid work permits are welcome to apply)
