We are a growing accounting firm based in Eldoret, seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. This is a contract position with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate with clients regarding financial matters

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accountant
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficient in using accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills

Salary:
1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
